Dollar Tree Tips

I just love the Dollar Tree and have found some amazing items there that I just couldn't believe were a dollar, just one dollar.
I've put together some tips for you shoppers out there that I've learned from experience.  So, here goes.

1. Trucks come in nearly every day, if not daily.  So if you are looking for a particular item go back or to a different location.
2. Not all Dollar Trees have the same merchandise.  If you are looking for a specific item and have more store locations in your area, visit another store.  They may just have what you are looking for at a different location.
3. Many times stores unload in the morning and then by evening the new items are sold out.  If you can go by on your lunch break you may find treasures.
4. Not all items are displayed on a logical aisle.  So look everywhere.  For example, I was looking for Washi Tape and it was next to the Duct Tape instead of craft items.  Nice notebooks may be placed with the books.  
5. Also be aware that some items are only hanging on corners of aisles and not on a shelf.
6. New items may be near the cash register.
7. Dollar Tree does carry some name brand items.  I've seen Elf and Wet and Wild makeup, Heidi Swapp stickers, We R Memory Keepers stickers, and more.
8. Check your items and make sure there are no defects.
9. Watch for merchandise that gives "extra" bonuses.  You can find additional bonuses in sandwich bags, foil, and other things.
